Dental Extraction

Dental Extraction

A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the dental alveolus in the alveolar bone. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, but most commonly to remove teeth that have become unrestorable through tooth decay, periodontal disease, or dental trauma, especially when they are associated with toothache. In some cases, we extract wisdom teeth that are growing abnormally to relieve pain and safeguard adjacent teeth from damage. We administer the necessary anesthesia to make the procedure painless and comfortable.
